The physical manifestation of our vision for the future of Princeton Bioengineering is taking shape in our plans for the new Omenn-Darling Bioengineering Institute home. The BioE building is currently being designed as part of an expansive new complex along Ivy Lane and Western Way, and will house state of the art research and teaching laboratories and core facilities.
BioE will be centrally located within the broader complex, with proximity to many related units on campus including the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering (CBE), and other Engineering units that will catalyze our vision for advancing bio-interfacing devices and technologies to directly measure and manipulate nanoscale biological structure and function. All of these activities will be strongly tied to molecular biology, genomics and data science, which are also close by.
