Jodi Halpern, 2022
In Fall 2022, we held the inaugural Omenn-Darling Bioethics lecture, given by Professor Jodi Halpern at Berkeley. The Omenn-Darling lecture is organized by ODBI together with the Council on Science and Technology, and the University Center for Human Values. The hour-long lecture and reception are the highlight of a 2-day visit, which brings together Princeton students and faculty from across campus, including those in ODBI, CST, UCHV, Princeton's School of Public and International Affairs, the Department of History, the Department of Philosophy, and the Faith & Work Initiative at the Keller Center. The Omenn-Darling lecture is catalyzing this important conversation across campus, and is helping engage ODBI researchers with the broader societal implications of their work.
